Charlotte Ashe

(She/her) BA, MA, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

If you are struggling with depression or anxiety, problems in your relationships, trauma, substance use, or maybe a general feeling of being stuck and not really knowing why - finding a therapist is a great place to start.

Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to speak openly about your feelings, fears, and hopes for your future.  Why is this valuable?  Exploring your emotional landscape provides a wealth of inner wisdom and insight into the obstacles that may be getting in the way of your wellbeing.  This process can move you towards greater self-awareness and self-acceptance, providing a roadmap for healing and change.  I would be honoured to accompany you on this path.

My approach is strength-based, person-centred, and relational. I draw inspiration from mindfulness, positive psychology, cognitive and dialectical behaviour therapy, and internal family systems.  That being said, therapy is not a one size fits all model, and I will tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Charlotte holds a Master's degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, where she conducted research on mindfulness in educational settings.  She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), having trained at Emmanuel College (University of Toronto).

Charlotte has completed clinical internships at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Michael Garron Hospital, and St. Michael’s Homes, where she gained experience in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy and trauma-informed care.  Charlotte is trained in Mindfulness-based Symptom Management, and is currently undergoing training in Internal Family Systems.
