Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

We We are complex beings living intricate lives, and whatever you may be going through, you deserve a space to be seen and heard. I believe that healing happens through safe, supportive relationships. Within the safety of our connection, we can delve into the core of your experiences. My goal is to foster an environment that encourages authenticity, supporting your innate capacity for healing and growth.

I use an integrative and relational approach, grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ2SIA+ affirming principles. I also draw on my own lived experiences with life transitions and complex interpersonal and family dynamics. I welcome individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities, striving to meet you where you are and tailor our work to provide individualized care.

I specialize in working with individuals who are going through challenging life transitions, relational trauma, and sexual health concerns including intimacy issues and sexual dysfunctions. I would be honoured to speak with you to determine if our connection is the right fit for your therapeutic journey.

Taryn holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and has completed an Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph. With seven years of experience in social services, she has worked extensively with victims of human trafficking, exploitation, and domestic violence. Taryn is also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
