Thaodra Workneh
(She/her) MEd, MD, RP, CCC
Registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Counsellor
It is important to me to provide a safe and supportive environment free from judgment and make an authentic and sincere connection with my clients based on mutual trust, respect, understanding and openness.
I believe that people already have the answers to the dilemmas that brought them to therapy and that therapy facilitates revealing them. I will meet my clients wherever they are in their journey and work with them in their quest to find meaning.
My approach to therapy is relational, person-centred, trauma-informed, culture-sensitive and anti-oppressive. I am drawn to Emotionally-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment, and Narrative therapeutic techniques, which I apply in my work to fit each client's distinctive needs and offer my services to individuals and couples.
